Sacrifice

Lost alone in our Shadowlands

What is this feeling here beyond borders

A Hungry Ghost perhaps glutted on the wonder

we left right here a moment ago or does he eat

time as well pulling from the past irreconcilable

differences and all- Where is that shallow love

the all consuming Lust birthing the Myriad

Voices spilling out of Light’s afterbirth

the hums and booms of Matter

and yes we chained our

reluctant Angels

with Letters

with Words

And finally Lines

Trapping it all in this irresistible Web

Incalculable sacrifice of the One

for the Many.

the writing is well cloaked; and an interesting style as usual Con.

perhaps a former self that had to be lost to save the future self or selves?

Pinhead

"Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends.

There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh."

Joey

"I don't believe you."

Pinhead

"Oh come, you can hear its faint echo right now. I'm here to turn up the volume.

To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart."

"There's a starving beast inside my chest
playing with me until he's bored
Then, slowly burying his tusks in my flesh
crawling his way out he rips open old wounds

When I reach for the knife placed on the bedside table
its blade reflects my determined face
to plant it in my chest
and carve a hole so deep it snaps my veins

Hollow me out, I want to feel empty"

"Sky turns to a deeper grey

the sun fades by the moon

hell's come from the distant hills

tortures dreams of the doomed

and they pray, yet they prey

and they pray, still they prey"

Hi Doc,

The supple movement of sound and image, the chain of meaning: compels reading and re-reading. But the linked passages do not enter a discernible trajectory, at least from a logical perspective. I can not even extract a consistent surreality once I turn the corner ending line 9. At least not yet. There is an indistillable emotional response that assures I will be returning to this one. If I get a flash of "Ah, of course!", I'll reply again. I love the potentialities resident here.

Thank You both... It's a bit of Kabbalhistic fun... Yes it is about going outside of the ordinary and becoming the original oneness that became the myriad things. I love the idea of a self that sacrifices for the many selves...

As always many thanks for your kind responses!

Juris
