Frank E Gibbard
Some things with best luck may not soon end Such as constancy in one's truly genuine friend, If you have any, they can make a little amends For an unruly fractious bit of life's archest trends; We, storm-afflicted chaff, its waves ever send To Everest's crest but downwards then descend And sorely need them to gather us up, and mend. . fdelano
What I got from A Friend in Deed was that we know many who are friendly and to whom we are friendly, but there are those, who ride the ups and downs and stay within hailing distance, ready to prove themselves. A nice snapshot into human relationships. There are many I have known who I know would be by my side to prop me up if needed, though they would have to travel far. Thanks for this, Frank.
