Larsen M. Callirhoe
Carried In The Wind Does anybody know what time it is? Does anybody really care? Yesteryear has come and gone! I used to watch time pass until it all became a big blur. Can anybody tell me what time it really is? I had a friend name Dave. He died way before his time. Shot in the head, dead way to young. I realized than how fragile life really is. I hear a song played on the radio, I look at an old painting. Can I see creation's hand at work? This song tells me in harmony how I used to be. Does anybody remember me? Does anybody really care? Can you tell what time it is? I scream out loud. The only witness is the clouds in the sky and the trees and birds on the ground. Tears fall from my eyes. Is it really my heart bleeding? I let the wind take me and carry me away to a much better place where no more tears fall. Is it all just a blur? I woke up from a nightmare of a dream. I remembered my old friend Dave who was in that dream. I called out his name and heard him speak to me as though it was an echo in the wind. _________________ Comments and Critiques are welcomed! I worship Sophia the Christian Holy Ghost! Larsen M. tonyv
Very nice. A tribute to your friend, Victor. It has "the flow." I agree with Jainrohit. Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
