Aleksandra
Candlelight The rhythm of this music captured the heart. I can dance at the dawn with trees naked by the wind. My hair touches the stars and I ask for a kiss - voiceless. Let's swim, in this moonlight face of the sea, in my eyes. Give me a hug with your doves and show me the highness then let's walk bootless on the sand under the blue sky. Stay voiceless. Just feel the quite silence. I see the sunrise between the mountains, and I feel the sand in my hand. The same rhythm of the same music still plays in my heart. The candlelight still reflects on my window Slowly, the magic light goes. not voiceless now, but saying - ............good bye .......................- to me The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia

goldenlangur
Hi Aleksandra, It's wonderful to read your work again! This is exquisite - the imageries evoke a sense of divine ecstasy in the mode of Eckhart's or Ibn Arabi's poems. A reaching out and being steeped in a moment of sublime fulfillment of the spirit, but it is only a moment, and the fleeting, transience you suggest here makes this all the more exquisite: "...the magic light goes. not voiceless now, but saying - good bye to me" The sensual physical images work beautifully in evoking a transcending of the physical to a more sublime plane. I would well be wrong in my reading but thank you for a fabulous work. goldenlangur goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying. Lake
Very good poem, Aleksandra. The ending reminds me of the Little Match Girl. The poem gives me a feel of immersing oneself in the nature, the universe by evoking all the senses. Thanks, Lake

Too many fresh, lovely expressions to list, so I bolded them all. There is a euphoria present throughout the poem, a delirium, followed by a let-down. The ending makes me sad. The poem gives me a feel of immersing oneself in the nature, the universe by evoking all the senses. Thanks, Lake dear Lake. How wonderful you remind me of this sad fairy tale, by Andersen, - I think ? And yes yes, I remember when the little girl dies after last match, when in the last light she see her grandmother. I am glad that my end reminds you on that , and now yes, reminded me too. And that feel what this poem gives to you you expressed very well and I am glad to read what provoked my poem in you. Thank you a lot for your wonderful words. Aleksandra The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia

Tony Dear Tony I am so sorry that the end made you sad. Just it was over that candlelight bc the candle was over. and then I heard the voice - good bye ( from the candle ) and that made me to fall asleep, bc the magic light was over and together with that the dreaming with opened eyes - remember one of my big inspiration are the candles . Glad you like this poem and that expressions worked well for you as fresh and lovely.
