JoelJosol Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 If life were measured like a thread, who will cut off the fly from a spider's fiber, dead and swinging like a pendulum? How many threads can bury a spider with legs dismembered by soldier ants crawling over his upside-down body? Stirring the mud, the rain digs on the earth a shallow grave. Benjamin Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Interesting subject matter. My young brother as a child would cogitate over ants although I'm pleased to say we don't have soldier ants in th UK. Our spiders are harmless to humans although I believe most have six eyes and some actually jump on their unsuspecting prey. Difficult to empathise--brrrrr. Quote
JoelJosol Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Glad the piece linked up with some memories for reflection, Benjamin. Thanks for the read. Quote "Words are not things, and yet they are not non-things either." - Ann Lauterbach
