Larsen M. Callirhoe Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 the beauty of nature when i look to the stars i see my lovers eyes. i go to the seashore and there is my beloved bathing in the water. i stir the water making passionate love with her. we dance with the stars of heaven. the sun shines on us after the moonlight is gone, we toast with red wine are union, we marry in white, everyone says the marriage is a grand site. white doves are released to the air when we kiss and say i do to one another Quote Larsen M. goldenlangur Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Hi Victor, This poem flows like a dream - the longing and hope fulfilled in this realm beyond the loneliness and sadness of the everday. The "stars, moon and the sea" all seem to take on the attributes of the beloved. The details at the close of the poem of a "white wedding" are beautiful and poignant. goldenlangur Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying.
tonyv Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I remember this one, Victor. These are still my favorite lines: i go to the seashore and there is my beloved bathing in the water ... everyone says the marriage is a grand site. white doves are released to the air ... Very dreamy. Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
