dcmarti1
Kaheksa, Estonian for eight, is the collected verse of the poet Arthur Martinson (dcmarti1) composed from 1987 to 1995, eight years. Comprised of places, people, and miscellany, the styles range from formal to haiku, and the topics from mysticism to eroticism, from casual encounters to unrequited love. Some very adult themes are discussed. If you lived in Dupont (Washington, DC) in the 90s, you'll understand. Poems have appeared in a college journal called Riverrun, and online at Pink Litter and The Guardian. If you go to Amazon and search for "martinson keheksa" you will be able to "Click to look inside". Ten cents from the sale of every newly printed copy will go to the Green Party.
