Hanna was born in the middle at just the right time

 

she came out happy and healthy and covered in slime

 

she was quiet and easy as babies go

 

but those qualities left her as she started to grow

 

she’s expressive and social, vibrant and strong

 

pair her with anyone and they’ll get along

 

she has purpose with passion and a strong point of view

 

and if you engage her she’ll tear you a new...

 

Her beauty is stunning and her warmth sincere

 

her smile is infectious and when she laughs you can hear

 

she has compassion and empathy and a heart made of gold

 

she’s polite and considerate and does what she’s told

 

she’s athletic and graceful and so full of life

 

incite full, delightful and sharp as a knife

 

she is there when you need her no questions asked

 

she’s open and honest and nothing gets masked

 

she’s sweet and she’s sassy with a sarcastic edge

 

she puts herself out there and lives on the edge

Hi Dan, This is a sweet Occasional Poem which I am sure is treasured by Hanna who I am assuming is your middle child.

 

I am intrigued by this line which as first I thought might be a misspelled word but reading again I think quite deliberately written in this manner....interesting
