dcmarti1
Addewid actor (The actor's pledge) (Welsh form Tawddgyrch Cadwynog) Would that I might but read and act, This solemn pact I shall profess: From stage each night, in rage or tact, In fib or fact, the play will bless! Tinker
Hi Marti, We learn something new, an actor! Love this compact poem with "harmony of sound" This may be an ancient form but it doesn't sound old fashioned in your poem, it simply fits the theme and tone. Great job. I can't pass this one up, I've added it to the form article and added the link to your post, hope that's ok. ~~Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
