JoelJosol
There is no visible city crow circling a black sky, blackened by smog, by night. But I am here. Are the little wings crippled or is this the loneliness of my pillows? I demand your daily tribute of smiles whether the sun is up high in the skyscraper or that window glass cleaner darkening my view. She does not care, of the printer's being out of paper. If the power goes out while in a lift, I will not panic. But you will miss this little thing's drift. Who knows? This could be my version of a black sky. tonyv
More of the new style, Joel! This one seems to lean toward expressionism. "Black sky" is a fantastic image. I get the impression that it's not just the night sky that is black. I love this part: I demand your daily tribute of smiles whether the sun is up high in the skycraper or that window glass cleaner darkens my view ... Daily tribute of smiles is superb! Keep 'em coming! Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
goldenlangur
Hi JoelJosol, I like the way you use a disclaimer to underline the N's acute feelings of loneliness. The "Black Sky" reflects this wonderfully. goldenlangur Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying. JoelJosol
Thank you, Tony and GL. It is indeed more of the new style but it is not completely "inaccessible" as I still want a link to my reader to unravel what I want to say.
