dr_con
A Poem about a Tree in Spring Sentence by sentence word by word carve out a new geography That is not a black bird resting and cawing amid stark leafless branches bountiful with entropy defying buds But when she takes flight in the cloud heavy morning landing in the neighbor’s fresh turned earth besides the bright yellow Witch Hazel seeking nutrition from the newly awakened riotous soil a line is etched And in that great Hollow where Suns and Gods and Landscapes are born live and die a Tree blooms The foliage gives weight to the color green and then reminded Death is beautiful embers snap a glimpse of what happened before beginning.
