Tinker
The Path Discordant storms erupt. The path goes dark while whipping wind and smashing rain complain and push the day to night, the blackness stark. The force of creation collects its cost and all the universe joins the cyclical flow while plunged in gloom where rants an unseen show. The earth is purged, the putrid air is washed. From recalled shadows cast above and below disjointed thoughts intrude and wander lost. Perception stumbles, blinded, spun and tossed and latent dreams turn labored, gray and low. In darkness chaos tricks the shaded brain that strains to see the dawn of nature's spark illuminate the straightened path's domain. ~~Judi Van Gorder Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
dr_con
Wow Judi Wow. I love the almost biblical tone of this. The power and the grandeur! It hits and works end to end... I'll return later- But I really enjoyed this! Juris Quote thegateless.org
moonqueen
Excellent, but I most especially loved the last stanza. Very nice. I admire your 'stick-to-it-iveness'. I don't know, maybe next year. You are so close, now. t
Tinker
Thanks DC I wasn't sure anyone would get it. Hi Tammi, Thanks, some of the daily poems I work on more than others. This one I worked on for a few days so I put up some less complicated poems for some of those days. I don't know about this poem a day thing. I committed so I am going to finish but writing a poem a day results in some poems I would not post otherwise. And I feel like I have been flooding the board and some of my poems aren't even being read or commented on. Which I get, sometimes it is just as hard to read and comment as to write a poem. So thanks for the response. ~~Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
