Frank E Gibbard
In the night shelters of London you will find many old soldiers, there who did good service for their country but not got back a decent share. Mental illness, homeless, men cities abandon, worthies or not they don't care. Hard in structure stone-centred metropolises' hearts do not give. A military flotsam, poor veterans will wash up on concrete strand. Unminded, left desolutely to live, moved on, epitaph to fade away. dr_con
Moving Frank. Sad indeed and so it is when corporation society doesn't need your body any more, you are left to fade away.... Many thanks, juris Quote thegateless.org
Gatekeeper
Yes, flotsam, to the degree that wars are always wrecks, and men are wrecked and left adrift, but I think many of them (us) are jetsam - deliberately cast off from a ship that moves on, rid of its unwanted debris . . . We never get back what we discard. And still, we think about the next war. Thanks for the poem. Quote from the black desert
David W. Parsley
Quite the finale, Frank. You are on a roll. Devastating, - Dave
