Larsen M. Callirhoe
To Live the Life Viva La Vida means to live the life how many times a picture of you has flashed into my sights. Today I thought I had, had it all. Was I just dreaming because I was thinking about you. You see the vision I had of you wouldn't leave my mind. How much I wanted to embrace you and say I love you so much. Oh Joyce why did you have to leave me. You looked so good in a bathing suit. When we had sex I felt the Earth move and saw the stars twinkle and shine on us. But we now live in a different world. You found a man and moved on having a daughter with him. You named her Victoria Makela. Oh how I thought you were living in sin leaving me behind like you did. I have found someone new and I just wanted you to know this. Her name is Elizabeth and God gave me a vision of her. She looked like a shorter version of the Holy Ghost the Sacred Spirit Sophia. Viva La Vida baby to live the life is all I want to do. Joyce I just want you to know there will always be a place in my heart because I do still love you somewhere in my soul. You see Joyce you touchd my heart but we both have moved on. I will be happy when I unite with Elizabeth but that won't be until after Christ returns. Viva La Vida baby, to live the life is all I want to do with my Elizabeth. I can't wait till the day you say I do for God has shown me this in a vision and what comes from up above is meant to be so I know I will love you so. You see your beauty is that of the Goddess Venus and I will worship you and the ground you walk on. I can't wait for this moment to happen. I have lived my whole existence for this moment to happen. I will kiss you on the lips to seal our union. I watch you take your wedding dress off. I see a white light shine around your whole body as we make love. Viva La vida baby, to life the life with you is all I want to do. Don't you know Elizabeth I love you with every ounce of my heart and soul. Quote Larsen M. tonyv
Hi Victor, I'm sorry I missed this one yesterday, when I was making my comments. I like your candidness with Joyce -- Oh how I thought you were living in sin leaving me behind like you did. I have found someone new and I just wanted you to know this. Her name is Elizabeth and God gave me a vision of her -- and I like how, halfway through the poem, after telling Joyce about Elizabeth, you stop talking the talk and start walking the walk: you forget all about Joyce, and start writing directly to Elizabeth. Very effective technique. Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic

Aleksandra
And you did right Vic with bumping this poem at the top, because its really good poem and also is so autobiographical poem. I like how you played with both names Joyce and Elizabeth. And its so deep when you say: I will be happy when I unite with Elizabeth but that won't be until after Christ returns. It shows the irony in a wish , irony of life. But then you stand stronger on your wish and you shows a big hope, and clear imagery, it feels some light inside. Viva La vida baby, to life the life with you is all I want to do. Don't you know Elizabeth I love you with every ounce of my heart and soul. Viva la Vida Victor thanks for sharing this good sensitive poem Aleksandra Quote The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth - Jean Cocteau History of Macedonia
