The Lonely Collarbone

My lonely collarbone
Smiles at me
Then drops down
So pensively

Sensual and elegant
Masculine yet fine
A bone in my body
Whose character is sublime

And when I stroke its
Velvety skin
And caress it with my fingers
It’s so shy
And so thin

An elegant, erotic bone
That feels so alone
An intimate part of me
Concentrated sensuality

I can sense that he longs
For the same things
I do
A lover
And a love
That will follow through

To receive love, you have to give it...
