The Oak Nymphs

The forest nymphs are whispering to each other
In the huge oak trees above me
I can hear their messages rustling on the wind
Between the young emerald leaves of Spring
And I can hear them giggling
As lie beneath the strong expansive boughs
Searching for glimpses of blue
While the lush foliage celebrates its new life

The forest nymphs are whispering to each other
In the huge oak trees above me
I can feel their blessings and fascinations
Pouring down upon me carried by the cool breeze
As I lie upon the thick soft grass
Which tickles my legs pleasantly
Causing me to smile and fall in love with Spring
All over again
