bob
The Royal Queen of the River Yes… I knew the Queen; she stood out from all the rest She wasn’t upper class, but what she offered was the best. She courted and she cherished, every man she knew; Those Noblemen and Gamblers, and a Statesman or two. She was a beauty on the river, yes… I knew the Queen; Though squat and broad, she was a sight to be seen. She required more support, than the average of her kind, What caused men to adore her, was the action of her behind. She was swift as a sturgeon, when there was need to be, Yes… I knew the Queen, she even courted me. She was well stacked; and able to put on a show. She could belch louder than many men, you might chance to know. Alas, her time was abrupt; and while her girls picked up the pace, Divesting men of their money, she went down in disgrace The night she hit rock bottom, a storm caught her by surprise, With her paddle wheel still churning', she disappeared before my eyes. ‘Twas a sad sight to witness; her memories still bring a shiver. I’m proud to let you know, she was the finest on the River. I knew the River Queen; she was a beauty for her size; She remains in my heart, though ‘neath the Mississippi she now lies.
