Lake
waxing moonon my laptop - not a single word goldenlangur Not in this case, Golden. You have a haiku here. Seriously, I see the contrast of waxing moon and not a single word - the moon becomes larger and larger, but not a single word is written. And it is at night which to some people is the best time to write. As usual, it has such a solitary feel to it. Lake
tonyv
I agree with Lake, when she says, "You have a haiku here." It makes me think of THIS image. Now, there's a waxing moon for your laptop! I hope it will inspire another fabulous haiku! Bloodyday
it's a haiku........but a modern haiku. moon is waxing like the time depletes. our life just comes to an end unnoticed.in one fine morning, we come to know the adventure is just like a dream of a fortnight. always try to watch the dream in replay, but the time is up....blood runs cold (Def Leppard) the haiku is great! goldenlangur
Hi Lake, You bring a great sensitivity in your reading and lend a wonderfully attuned ear to the nuances of the haiku form. I appreciate how you express this: Lake wrote: Seriously, I see the contrast of waxing moon and not a single word - the moon becomes larger and larger, but not a single word is written. goldenlangur
Hi Tony, Clicked on the link you gave and what a truly glorious sight it is! I'm both humbled and touched that my piece took to that fabulous scene. If such a waxing moon cast its glow on the laptop, how could the Muse refuse? At least, I hope A big thank you. goldenlangur Quote goldenlangur Even a single enemy is too many and a thousand friends too few - Bhutanese saying.
