JoelJosol
I am a wilderness where even a wild wind do not blow to bring rain clouds overhead and cool my parched earth. Not even wild animals howl at me or a full moon to cast its light on my barren ground. No roads ever lead or end in me. So I howl in my loneliness but the heavens do not care. The stars hide their shine behind clouds that hold their rain. I could not produce even my own tears but I dream of seeds of trees crawling deep into the earth like earthworms, to one day break forth into the light, its branches wagging against the sky, the stars, the clouds. This earth will become an orchard garden. * Hi. I am glad my account is still here after what 2-3 years? I am trying to revive my passion for writing. I am saddened by our group's recent loss of a fellow poet-writer. My interest was revived when I saw on local TV a spoken poetry session. I wrote some pieces but in Tagalog. I will try to write something this year in English inspired by Sarah Kay's performance in YouTube. rhymeguy
Hey, It is so very good to see your name. I too have just returned after a very long hiatus. Must be something in the air. I don't know what you had in your soul when you wrote this. But it expresses exactly how I have felt creatively for the last several years. great emotion. abstrect-christ
a good read, fun, simple, clear message about the earth being choked out by the surface.typo in S1L2? Quote Pinhead "Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the center of the world, Joey, and its sound is like razors through flesh." To press the stinking face of humanity into the dark blood of its own secret heart." Tinker
Hi Joel, I've missed you. Welcome back. I was so excited to see you posted. You've been writing in Tagolog, such a musical language. I wouldn't pretend to understand it but I like the sound of it. That maybe where the melodic tone to your poems in English comes from. You always write with such fluidity. I'm glad to see you are writing again. Maybe seeing you, Marti and Rhyme guy returning will get me writing again too. ~~ Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com

Benjamin
Lucid, concise and a pleasure to read... I'm sure the perennial Earth will supersede anything we mortals inflict upon ourselves and it.
