Never Easy

I suppose it was never meant to be easy.


When we all signed up for this from celestial grandeur, it was never meant to be easy.


The heart's appetites, the soul's deep waxings and wanings;


Caught within the orbital paradox of an orb we named Moon, we ebb and flow, we ebb and flow; intelligent water evolving since the beginning of time.


Tidal consciousness from the place that gives us grace, despite the detour we have carved deeply through granite over eons.


But still we persist, still we flow, driven by instinct, or magic, tidally toward our elusive enlightenment.


Some call it love, some wisdom or evolution.


But let's remember that words are merely the constructs of deeper truths half recalled...


To receive love, you have to give it...
