Flickering Afternoon Light

I should not have looked your way
your head bowing as if to pray
I did not see the tears leaking from your eyes
because mine  blurs  my own-
what a joy to see how they glisten
in the flickering afternoon light.
 

(Hi. This short piece just burst forth from my head when I visited the site again. I thought I will never write again :-) How are the folks here?)

Glad to re-visit the site. Thanks also for your generous comments. The schedule is still hectic but I missed writing. So, I will do my best to break from so much work and participate again.
