Tinker Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Someone, Please Fix MeMy dang washer's worn again! It "sucks" to get old,or in my case, "drips".I just drip, drop, drip like a cold with a runny nose.I guard earth's precious elixir, preparedto share at a touch. I love it when I'm free!Streams of healing, life saving, cleansing, refreshingwater flowing forth. This is what I live for! tonyv Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Still smiling after enjoying this several times. When I first saw the title, I thought it was a call for help with some topic -- a double post or something -- but I was delighted to see it was poem. Line 2 and the last two lines lead me to believe there's an underlying metaphor at work. An excellent personification of the leaky faucet. David W. Parsley Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 A light-hearted personification with which I'm starting to identify all too strongly. I like the way the piece, uhm, flows. - Dave Quote
