JoelJosol Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 The first rays of sunlight broke through the window just when you turned to me. I see the beach, white sands, and blue-green waters from here. The waters glisten, as your lips met mine. I find comfort from your body’s warmth even while the breeze keeps pushing these curtains, white as foam of waves, off the window frame. I don't need a cup of coffee now if you won't let go of your warm and tight embrace. In this bluish morning, as the coolness lingers here, let your eyes be the sun of my sky. * This will be my anniversary poem for my wife in our 32nd. tonyv Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 The locale is exotic and appealing. This is very nice work, and she should love this, Joel. (Not to mention, you love her more than coffee, and that says a lot, lol!) Tony PS -- I love "bluish morning." Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
