Lucky To Be In Love

I feel so lucky to be in love.

It feels like I am on cloud nine.

Go ahead and say what you must.

Leave me alone it’s my life.

My life is to do as I please.

Somewhere beyond the stars

our horizons met in the universe.

I am playing jazz on the piano.

Only for you my dear Elizabeth.

We met in stairway’s Heaven

Were stars collide and angels sing.

The Cosmos is my gift to you my dear.

You also searched me out in the sea below.

The time has come for us to make love.

I see birds flutter their wings

every time we dare to touch passionately.

Yes this time I think we have united for good.

I am so lucky to be in Love with you.

And I feel you love me the same

Where the waves crash on our bodies.

Where the sun casts its reflection on us.

You see the sun shines on us.

The wind caresses our heavenly sent bodies.

The fragrances desire make us wild in heat.

May this dream last forever.

Yes I am lucky to be in love with you my dear.

Lucky to touch where only our minds will go.

Lucky to be free to express emotions for each other.

Yes Elizabeth I am lucky to have you in my life.

As always, nice and lovely emotional poem Victor.

It is interesting how inspirational is Elizabeth to you. Your imagination work so well and makes you to write romantic poems.

Much enjoyed my friend.

Larsen,

You have indeed found your 'strange attractor' pulling you eternally into its orbit. Strong, romantic, but with a hint of irony, of course, that may simply be my knowledge of history, "There is no such thing as a pure critic" -Dr. Con icon_biggrin.png

Hello vic,

This poem is a poignant combination of a prayer and a dream:

Yes I am lucky to be in love with you my dear.

Lucky to touch where only our minds will go.

Lucky to be free to express emotions for each other.

Yes Elizabeth I am lucky to have you in my life.

I always love your use of images of the night sky to reflect passion, longing and hope in your poems:

Somewhere beyond the stars

our horizons met in the universe.

I am playing jazz on the piano.

Only for you my dear Elizabeth.

We met in stairway’s Heaven

Were stars collide and angels sing.

The Cosmos is my gift to you my dear.

I hope you're doing well, my friend.

hi DC,

i appreciate your comments. im not the smartest person in the world or the greatest poet *sighs lol* but seriously in i try now that i am disabled. i broke my neck and have been studyoing ever since for slacking in school days. their may be no pure critics in the world but honesty is hard to understand in critiques or apeciated. you have to know when to comment and when not to. i love your comments.

I always admired the clarity of your style, Victor. From the very beginning, the poem is incredibly lucid:

I feel so lucky to be in love.

It feels like I am on cloud nine.

Go ahead and say what you must.

Leave me alone it’s my life.

My life is to do as I please.

It has a dreamlike quality which the intelligibility grounds in reality.

I also love this part:

I am playing jazz on the piano.

Only for you my dear Elizabeth,

this part:

The time has come for us to make love,

and the unusual mention of "stairway’s Heaven."

Ummm....i think your love is cosmological love and i must say Elizabeth is truly an angel for you and fortunately you are lucky.

You see the sun shines on us.

The wind caresses our heavenly sent bodies.

The fragrances desire make us wild in heat.

May this dream last forever.

i think i would use this stanza to impress someone (if i get someone who worth these lines icon_biggrin.png )

We met in stairway’s Heaven

Were stars collide and angels sing.

The Cosmos is my gift to you my dear.

You also searched me out in the sea below.

The term stars collide is not like the constructive, as much as i know it exerts a huge amount of energy tides and quark flow and after millionth yrs, we may see these supernova, but the view is extraordinarily nice!
