Decisions must be madeby the end of October, time ticks on and out. ~~Judi Van GorderNotes: ▼ 4 LInes Verse Form: Imayo Learning new words and trying to understand what is happening across the pond. prorogue - the putting off for a time Apparently, according to the constitution, only the monarch can prorogue parliamentary action. This was challenged in the courts, the UK court said it was lawful, the Scottish court said unlawful, therefore it went to the UK Supreme court and was found unlawful. It seems the UK constitution is being challenged in this Brexit confusion. tonyv
I haven't been following the Brexit thing, but I suspect that globalists, the ultra-wealthy and powerful who have no allegiance to any country are the ones who are opposed to withdrawl from the EU. Tinker
As an outside observer I am not emotionally connected to either side and I am fascinated by the process. So alike and yet so different from our government. But yes, clearly divisive. Both of our countries need to find a middle ground. ~~Judi Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
