dr_con
Liberation Blues “Getting free isn’t luck” Stonehouse #39, Red Pine trans. You wished You wowed You vowed and swore and swore to liberate to set free wa wa wa-nna be be-come liberat-ion There was and was not but we promised with iron and with fire anyhow anywhere We wished wowed vowed and swore and swore To be be free wa wa wa-nna be be-come liberat-ion Our blood wanted to be past the tangles the thickets the caves of wild foxes all in our way not to mention but it cannot be unsaid the curses and cusses the delusion and the subsequent deluge the fostering and the festering of the fabulous funk of being Right This Rightness with its life-denying wrong-ness follows all of our lives a rotten miasma signifying mistakes have been made Did you Forget? I wished You wowed We vowed and swore and swore to free and to liberate wa wa wa-nna be be-come free free-dom remember the tuneless tune the windy road the shiny mirror the polished and rough bind equally Wished wowed vowed and swore and swore to liberate to be free wa wa wa-nna be be-come liberat-ion repeat reap repeat. Tinker
Juris, This had me Wowed and I vowed and swore and swore to read and reread and repeat this addicting charming churning chorus. This sucked me in and won't let me go. This may be a tuneless tune but its tone is tenacious. I loved it. ~~Judi Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
