eclipse
Music God somewhere uttered "Saginaw I believe is the place where America will receive a genius of music". Distant drumming of stars, constant swimming of the disparate bars of unwritten songs that would become the soundtrack to love and war. Stevie Wonder strove for vision through melodies eyes music was his guide through deserts of ice and sand, an hourglass of angels sang his songs. Black pride was unified strand by strand, angel's tongue in the groove of a 45 single, Motown band would demand black and white unify. tonyv
Very nice tribute, Barry. The setting is accurate, right there; I feel it. Tony Quote Here is a link to an index of my works on this site: tonyv's Member Archive topic
Tinker
Barry, I think this piece has all of the elements and it is a nice tribute to a legend. I do think it would be an easier read with different line breaks. You seem to run everything together which creates a little confusion. At least for me. ~~Judi Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
