dr_con
Worry about the Trees 4/19/20202 Con/Jur/d Started yesterday what had been finished the day before when new-buds encased and enfolded by ice while at the trunk base grass-growth paused by white snow today a melted sun blanched canvas ‘How the words sound together on a clean-blank page is different’ how the worry about trees and how they’ll do after an ill-timed Spring a story almost as silly as the roar of digital voices who don’t see everything everyone resides in experiment in exegesis in exaltation always in the middle dreaming of beginning and ends. tonyv
It was cold overnight with another frost advisory for tonight here in the Ocean State. Early Saturday morning there was some snow, and it was weird hearing birdsong at 4&5 am. The animals must get confused. Tinker
Hard to think snow on this beautiful spring day. Of course for me, snow is a novelty anytime of the year. But I would think seeing the green grass at the base of the tree, peeking up out of the snow would just make one happy. The buds start sprouting and the sleeping tree wakes up. Your vision so different from mine. ~~Judi Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
