eclipse
The tree is transformed as the last of the fruit falls, thunder holds open eyes from a final supper, see the hands that catch the fruit to make wine. How many eternities are their between the Blood and wine that falls from a planet balanced on a cross, God and man rise together, ceremony of bread and flesh, mutual exchange of love, divine infusions nourish the disparate vines that feed the faith, the belief that bread and wine are the flesh and blood of Christ. The love of God guides senses as they sail on heaven's winds.
tonyv
Not all traditions are good -- I can do without strangling chickens or cutting the throats of goats -- but this one seems to "sail on heaven's wind." David W. Parsley
Your imagination has touched the hem of Transcendence, Barry. Well known symbol and parable are joined in startling ways, rekindling the fires that first lit the aspirant’s path. Recommendations: Develop and insert a union of metaphor and parable for the Bread of Life with an inspiration on the same order as that done for the True Vine. Give that treatment it’s own paragraph. Then take up the Supper narrative in a closing third. And please. Rededicate yourself to expunging your work of spelling errors before posting. Those their-there and other miscues have been making an unwelcome comeback lately. 🥴 Best, - David
