You probably should have made more than one. Tony 😀 I believe it, most people I talk to haven't a clue what a Pasty is. I grew up on them, my Dad's favorite food. My husband didn't like them. He said pastry is only to be used for dessert with sweet filling. One pasty is too much for me to eat, very filling, they are huge. I cut mine in half and have 2 meals. My attempt isn't pretty but yummy, I haven't made them in years. My Mom always made extra because my Dad would take them in his lunch and eat them cold.
