Numerologists get off on numbers

Naturally, you needn’t go figure.

Poets put quality before quantity

Being wedded to apt word order.

They see this world figuratively,

In a calculated fashion to sum up

How they enumerate Xs and whys

That confront you and me in the big

Human equation of our relativity.

I must admit that using apt beats the right/best used by past greats in a similar context.

I think not using "me" you miss a sweet and merely incidental inner rhyme w/ "relativity".

Hah! Funny I just had to read this poem with an British accent. That never occured to me before when reading your poems Frank... I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
