Tinker Posted April 30, 2022 Share Posted April 30, 2022 This Morning's Stroll fragrant Rosemary greets me as I step outside the air calm and cool tight coral rose buds promise to open anon dew on velvet sheath Sweet Williams compete with Santa Barbara daisies to climb rock border Bodega Blues hold their own against Royal Iris, both stand tall loaded with sweet fruit good year for my lemon tree one picked for later golden poppies face the warming spring sun with joy brilliance on display high grasses still wet kissed by coastal morning mist soak my sandalled feet I approach the woods my redwood sanctuary brings me clarity ~~jvg April 30 Prompt: Multiple Choice(s)—create a poem that is somehow like a multiple choice test, OR turn this into another “free day” for our last day of April and write any poem of your choice, OR write multiple, short, linked poems…like the sidewalk poems!
