The execution

The sinister woodchipper

Takes him in,

Little by little!

First his feet,

Then his testicles,

Then his torso,

Then his arms,

Then his neck,

And finally His head!

Baleful torturous cries,

Dreadful death throes-

What sweet sounds!

Some squishy sounds,

Intestines splasing about,

Blood spraying everywhere;

Tis gruesome indeed,

Yet it’s just!

The wretch’s dead,

And good riddance!

The parents cheer,

The neighbours jeer,

Cops stand by

While children cry!

Death by wood chipper?!? Messy way to go. 🤮

Though not exactly the same scene, this reminds me of one of my favorite films, "Fargo" (1996). But in that one, it wasn't an execution, it was simply one criminal attempting to dispose of the body of his accomplice whom he'd already killed. (He was caught while in the middle of the task.)

I like the matter-of-fact approach this narrative takes. Good work!

Greetings.

It's a very cartoonish projection of an execution. With the joyous tone of the speaker, it comes off as humourous more so than gruesome. In a way, this creates a contradictory output of feelings here that is almost Lynchian.

Food for thought: what crime did the executed commit?
