A hanging chair suspended from a bending palm tree.

Ebony

An ebony teardrop,
when seen as a weight
on life’s force,
casts a shadow
blotting
pristine shores.

When recognized,
for its depth
of beauty and character,
the landscape is enriched.

It cries for recognition.
