Lubbo
where are the moments with the wind rushing through the hometown day in day out? it turned frisky when blowing your blonde hair about now it´s gliding over the morning grass while getting a blonde scent like a black coffee with bright sunrise I long to meet you there again meet up there, where the main street was the world´s tempting stage at the secret place behind the school to recall the first wine and cigarette there, where the air was rippling with thrill and hope and stars reaching talks made the promise to stay together grow I´m walking around the home town with mind full of playful summer until I find there´s neither the frisky wind, nor your laughter the same old bell is ringing on the tower of then colourful dreams it sounds like a grave story stirring up some fears I´m staring at your pictures in search for the blond hair still in vain will never put up with it turned dark if I spot a cloud on your face
tonyv
I love the nostalgia, the wanting to go back but can’t go back in this one. Maybe sometimes we can. Tinker
Hi Lubbo, This is the first I've read of your work and found it enticing. And a belated Welcome to PMO. Your piece reads rhythmically and pulls me forward at pretty fast pace for such long lines. There is an urgency and excitement at first and yet it slows to almost a dirge at the end. Skilled technique, interesting content, I look forward to reading more. ~~Tink Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
