after that no going back

as you can see

leaving me with

an unbearably heavy burden

to face forever

your coldblooded murder

 

instead of my son

home at Christmas

I hear his scream

and that of a student witness

feel an excruciating

pain and choke
as your icy fingers

grip my throat

from which nothing but

a single question comes out

why did you kill my child?
