The Mini-monoverse is a verse form with very short lines. Created by Emily Romano, this invented form can be found at several sites on the internet including Shadow Poetry and Poetic Constellations.

The elements of the Mini-monoverse are:

1. a decastich made up of 2 cinquains. A Double Min-monoverse is simply writing 4 cinquains.
2. syllabic, 3 syllables each line.
3. rhymed, each stanza is monorhymed. Rhyme scheme aaaaa bbbbb. If writing a Double Mini-monverse the rhyme scheme aaaaa bbbbb. A Double Mini-monoverse is aaaaa bbbbb ccccc ddddd.
4. recommended as a narrative which I thought odd since longer lines usually are best for narratives. Once I tried the form my concerns were confirmed.
