Allen Jenkins and found at Shadow Poetry. This is a recent invented form which is designed to be a cross between a Villanelle and Sonnet. The elements of the Villonnet are: a poem in 15 lines, made up of 3 quatrains followed by a tercet. metric, iambic pentameter. rhymed, either keeping the 2 rhymes of the Villanelle or eliminating the second rhyme of the Villanelle and rhyming only the anterior lines of the stanzas.
