There is something hazy in the speed,
On the train, the world shrinking in seconds,
The untuned pastorals; deer and sheep,
Tangled sunsets with vague hills incrusted.

The rain drops, as woodpeckers
Pecking on the window and leaving
A flicking tinge in my brain.

There is something vacating in the speed,
A blue, yet uncolored state, un-ticking moments
A puzzled mind goes numb and sunken-deep.
I God and his creation forgot, in peaceful Infidelity.

There is something feathery in the speed,
the life I carry, the blue-ink worry I bear dispersed.
The mountains, the giant moon, heavy streams
are slimming, muddling. When all pass neglected.

The train's clickety-clack quitenend,
Awaked I my eyes after my soul had set.
